Trip to BFFs Wedding

Bestie and I had made several plans like any other BFF duo about one another wedding. Due to time constraint half of it didn't materialize. Anyways to start with, the wedding was in Tirupati and I chose to fly via Air India. I had a connecting flight via Hyderabad. So here we were, my mom and I in the airport. Maybe its the feeling of traveling or the wanderlust in me, or the fact that most airports look clean and tidy, I do not know what but i love airports.
So Mom & I boarded the flight and the flight's final destination was Jedah. It had the typical 3-4-3 seating in the economy class. So we were all set seated in the plane, waiting for it to take off, without knowing it would be an eternal wait. So the pain of the wait started because it was the month of June, which means the climate was pretty hot..approximately 35 degrees c hot. There was no air conditioning inside the flight as we waited. Many co-passengers started requesting the flight authorities to turn the a/c on but they wouldn't oblige until the plane started.. And that starting took 1 hour & 8 mins to be precise.. One of the most uncomfortable 1 hour and 8 mins of flight experience I have had in my life.
Once it took off life was back to normal. Like as usual Air India serves snacks- Croissant, chocolate cake, fruits. After the one hour wait I could eat anything. I couldn't open the ketchup satchel.. It always happens with me.. So I gobbled up the croissant even though it was bland..So that was the end of the treacherous 3 hours from Mumbai to Hyderabad.
Hyderabad airport was good, the same shops, eateries etc., Duty free shops like any other airport pulls the crowd in. Since I was on a budget I didn't shop anything! Window shopped, took some selfies and just enjoyed being in the good space. We had the much needed filter coffee but as luck had its day it was a tasteless cup of 100 bucks which was no where close to any filtered caffeine. But we needed the caffeine doze after a long hot flight so it didn't make a difference. I remembered all the amazing cup of coffees i have had at home, in several small restaurants in Bangalore and Chennai. You are made to experience something bad so you appreciate the good things in life (the philosopher in me)!!
We boarded Trujet flight to tirupati.. Never have I travelled in such a small flight before..It look so compact, my thought was that I was going to have another 45 mins of uncomfortable flight journey but I was wrong. Just the opposite of previous experience in all ways.. Small yet comfy..Had the A/c on all the time! :) And there was no delay in the flight. Snacks was served.. Samosa & a local company made mango juice. Overall Trujet made me feel better.
We reached Tirupati after about 5 hours of leaving from home!
My experience at Tirupati in the next post!

Simple = Happiness!

Sometimes the simplest of all things in the world that you do gives you more joy than anything else..or the most expensively spent day has no value in front of the day when there was no money involved..or the day you have been surrounded by so many people has no value in front of those days where you have spent time all by yourself!
Having said that I remember a day when I was in such a good mood coz next day I was going to be in a show the next day and I was shopping for shoes.. I was on Brigades (one of the roads I miss the most) I bought about 4 pairs of shoes!! Never bought so many before on the same day... Spent quiet a bit :) Was alone, for some reason felt I need to enjoy my happiness all for myself.. It started raining and like most girls I love rain too... It is still one of the most memorable and happiest days of my life...Fortunately or unfortunately I have none of the pairs of shoes with me now...
At this present moment what makes me happy is listening to music while the air is gushing on my face..Now that I travel by local trains, I have this feeling of "I think I dont belong here" maybe coz Im in a new city, maybe coz there is so much crowd, maybe coz of so many strangers or maybe coz Im just out of my COMFORT ZONE... whatever the answer is in every difficult situation there is something to learn and definitely something to love which will become a memory one day.
I have started loving two kinds of music.. A friend of mine made me realize that I actually love Ghazals and Sufi music!!! It sometimes takes someone else (who knows you better than you know yourself) to let you know who you really are...
Was busy with so many things in life that I had forgotten to enjoy the smallest and the silliest happiness of life... One of them was blogging! Im back!! Hope to blog more.. again.. very soon..
